I struggle creating a narrative about myself touting accolades. Ive played with lots of people over the years, but mostly myself as Im an only child. Ive learned many valuable lessons but most are unrelated to music and not relevant here. For word count Ill mention, always pee before you leave and expose your vulnerabilities to as many folks possible; the quicker this happens the sooner you start becoming.
Mostly Im a cynical wreck and I use music (and my daughters infectious laugh and some mild anti-depressants) to clear my mind of the chatter and assess my daily observations.
Im good with parents and audiences alike because I bottle up most of the sad stuff until I sing my songs and most people dont listen to words anyway so we’re cool.
